The home of Ana Pérez-Quiroga (APQ) is temporarily installed at House-Atelier Vieira da Silva in an artistic project.
The APQhome installation is made up of 12 monochrome canvases in shades of blue and a set of furniture-sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, drawings, prints and 1 neon, which recreate a Decorated (domestic environment), in an idea of forcing the artistic boundaries.
As an artistic project, this installation is activated by me in partnership with the experiencers. In this way, the meaning and value I attach to space and objects are reinforced it is Maria Helena Vieira da Silva's space. This studio is filled with 3 pieces of furniture, 3 easels and 2 cabinets belonging to the artist herself. In dialogue with these objects by Vieira da Silva, I now position the objects designed by me; these objects become performative objects.
In this way, I invite Vicenciadores to participate in this installation, where art and life coexist and perform, as a condition for experiencing the total work of art.
The APQhome project can be consulted through the website - www.anaperezquirogahome.com - where all the objects that I have in my house can be seen, organized into 14 categories and listed in this order: Art, Books, Bric-à-Brac, Confection /Serving, Textiles, Furniture, Lighting, Appliances, Stationary, Hygiene, Cleaning, Garden, Stones and Transport, each object contains a caption that identifies it and includes the price for its acquisition. These objects can be acquired, in close connection with trading strategies.
