¿De qué casa eres? / “Which house are you from?” is a research/film project turned into an artistic vision about the value of memory for the development of the individual identity within a community. It is focused on a story of 2895 republican children who were taken to the USSR to be protected from the Spanish Civil War. Due to political turmoil they spent 20 years there until their return to Spain. The project will have an autobiographical dimension, as it addresses the lifetime memories of my mother and aunt, who were part of this group of children.
